Meet Lisa from Boleybeg

Lisa is a face that is well known around Galway. She may be the woman you see cycling around the Westend with her beloved Toby* in the basket. She might be the ripped swimmer bounding out of the cold water at Blackrock early in the morning. She may be the model like fashionista eating brunch at Dela. She may even be the lady who seems to be on the edge of every event; overseeing each detail with an energy that bursts. Or maybe she is just the lady you saw having a quiet drink in the Crane bar.

With so much going on with Lisa we have to "Seek first to understand and then to be understood." Lisa has a great faith in spirituality and general kindness to others. She lives by this motto and always tries to meet people without judgement. In her work and life she loves to get to know people. Even as a child her dad used to say she was very emotionally aware of others. She uses this skill now in her PR company; Lisa Regan PR. She tries to bring out the best in others and reflect their best in the most creative way possible.

Lisa started her career as a journalist and after a year travelling around the world she returned to Ireland at the start of the economic crash. Her job was gone.  Unsure as to which way to forge a career she fell into PR. It was a lucky fall. She can now use her writing skills, and love of fashion, fitness and food, to help other businesses succeed. She still works as a journalist, writing for the Huffington Post, see an example of her work here. She also has an alter ego, Lucy, who writes both fitness and fashion blogs. Follow her blog Lucy on Henry Street.

Despite obvious success Lisa doesn't take herself too seriously. She launched a clothing line called "Large and in charge" which sells sweaters with phrases like "I'm Vegan and I'm better than you" on the front. Her Instagram videos show her lifting weights in one moment and flashing her new eye lashes in another. Lisa is a lady who is multi-talented, energetic and comical at the same time. She is all of those people described in the first paragraph and more.

*  Toby is her three year old dog.
