Meet Susan from Warwickshire, England
When I spoke with Susan there was a sudden air of lightness. Her eyes sparkled with energy even though she had driven from Kerry to spend a full day hosting, and teaching, an EFT Master Practitioner course in the Clybaun Hotel. EFT stands for emotional freedom techniques and it is achieved through tapping on energy meridian end points on the body. Susan arranged a series of workshops in Galway because she loves being here!
Susan grew up with a "New age" Mum. She was taught about angels and cloaks of light, and brought to meditation sessions, yoga and mediums. It was no great surprise when Susan started training for her own qualification in Reiki at the age of 18. However she then trained in psychiatric nursing and for a few years her spiritual passions were put to the side.
After meeting her husband in London she moved to Co. Kerry in 2000. Here she started working as a psychiatricnurse and later trained as a counsellor. Susan found that EFT helped her clients to deal with anxiety and stress very effectively. She set up her own company; Light Life Learning and began running angel workshops in 2009 after training with The Diana Cooper Foundation.
Angel cards can often be misunderstood and associated with tarot cards but they have no negative connotations. Susan believes that there are angels all around us and, everyone has a Guardian Angel who we may or may not be aware of. She explained that angels are different beings, they are not those who have died and converted into angels, rather those who help guide both the living and the dead. Our deceased loved ones are carried by the angels.
Everyone is able to perform their own EFT and Susan has a book coming out in November entitled; ‘Angel EFT – an Introduction to Modern Energy EFT working with the Angelic Realm’.
