In normal times Séan would have family and friends around for a few drinks to celebrate his birthday. This year he has a drink through the window with his mum Rita. Having been cocooning for the last few weeks, the recent change of guidelines came at a perfect time for Rita. Today she was able to visit Séan and Joanne and see her grandchildren Fionn and Chloé.

Like so many others with young children, Séan and Joanne are so grateful for the weather we have gotten in Galway over the last month. Being able to bring the kids for a walk, go for a run or even play in the garden has helped everyone cope with the restrictions. While two year old Chloé has adapted well to social distancing she can’t wait to be able to cuddle her aunties and play properly on the green again.
