Meet Luke from Oughterard.

Luke is a creative force in Galway yet he is a very modest guy. A man full of creative ideas and ambitions, he is an accomplished poet, screenwriter and director. Luke creates his own opportunities in a world where it can be hard to get a big break. He co-founded The Theatre Room in his living room to give follow actors, directors and writers a venue to come together and develop their skills.   

Luke has already received many accolades: winning the Hotpress 'Write Here Write Now' regional award in 2015 and more notably having two of his short films ‘Pockets’ and 'Heads or Tails' screened at the Cannes Film Festival’s Short Film Corner. In response to this experience he felt it was "too glamorous" for him! He might need to get used to the glamour after an excellent run with the Russian play Gondla and some very exciting projects in the pipeline. 

Luke definitely is a "face" to watch!
